We're home! We're home!

After a looooong day, we are finally home. The 12-hour flight from Shanghai to Chicago was fine. In fact, it flew by and the pilot shaved 40 minutes off the flight! But the hour and 15 minute flight from Chicago took FOREVER. Well, once we actually got in the air, it went by fast, but to get in the air was the big problem! First the flight was delayed cuz the plane that was scheduled for our use was taken out for maintenance reasons, then we sat on the plane and waited for another hour for the runway to clear. All in all, it was a loooong day. But the boys did really well! Ricky got picked on by Eric a lot, and took it in strides, like the rest of their 2-week visit. :D

The house was a MESS when we got back. And Eric's excuse was that I kept him talking to me online too much, so he didn't have time to clean. ha! Men!

but it is nice to be home, even though I miss my parents and I know my parents miss us. Especially the kids, especially Jared. :D He had them completely wrapped around his little fingers. I see a trip back to Shanghai in the near future.
