Sometimes, It's JUST Not Meant To Be!

Alex has been doing really well in school, as he usually does. However, he screwed up one of his math assignments this quarter (he didn't do it, actually), which had resulted in an average o 88.9% in math. An A is 89.6% (however they arrived at THAT percentage). He has 2 weeks left in this school year, and he would really like to have an A in math, to round up a straight A quarter.

Rewinding to about a month ago. They took the high school assessment test for all students currently taking algebra. He got 100% on it (yay Alex!). As a result, his teacher gave him (and all students who scored 100%) a "homework pass" for the rest of the school year. Which means... no more homework! Which means... no more grades... Normally, he would've been ecstatic, however, he was counting on the 2 wks of homework to raise his grade up to an A.

Muahahahahahaha Poor kid. :)
