Eric has been making the boys (making being the keyword) do math everyday after school and on weekends, thru a website that tracks progress. Seems he's more the Asian of the parents, but I digress...
They started off with 2 a day (2 mastery's that is, not 2 problems). Then we quickly realized (well not quick enough) that they have been doing the easy ones over and again. Heck, Jared was doing multiply by 0's and 1's! That's what we get for not checking closely enough. So punishments were dished out, and now they get to do 4 a day, and they can no longer do duplicates of the same sets. They are quickly running out of easy ones. And the whining has yet to stop...
Today, it had reached a new height!
Jared: Mom, you know what Math is?
Me: It is useful? It is awesome and it is fun?
Jared: No no. Math is A Torture for Humans. Get it?
Where do they come up with this stuff???
