My Dad has been griping about not being able to see any of my Flickr pictures. And I found out today that apparently CHINA has decided to block Flickr, along with a few other picture hosting websites, because of the Tian An Men Square pictures that apparently have been surfacing from 1989. Dammit! Guess these are the times when I AM thankful that I no longer live there.
Other sites censored by China includes Wikipedia, BBC News, and Voice of America. These, though, have been blocked for ages. Wikipedia's sort of a mishap in the way that they keep flipflopping with the censorship. Flickr, et al, however, are recent additions.
This SUCKS!
