Field Day and more

field day

First Graders had their Field Day at school the other day, and Jared and I went to cheer Alex on. The kids in Alex's class always loved it when we go in. Jared's like Alex's personal "pet" which he didn't seem to mind either. And the other kids enjoyed playing with him also.

They had lots of fun games and "competition" where the kids got to run around like crazy men (and women) for 3 hours. They had rope swing, beanbag toss, tumble mat, 100-foot dash, Cleanies and Messies and Splish Splash Splush, which seemed to be everyone's favorite!

Jared joined right in while the entire time, including water breaks. Yippeeee. He was having so much fun he didn't want to leave! Nor did Alex want him to leave! I got to take lots of nice pictures of all the kids. They all posed for me (which I didn't really want, but it turned out alright!), so I can make a little album for their teacher for end of the year.

END of the year! Wow! Time flies! Alex keeps reminding me that he's going into SECOND GRADE next year! Bah! My baby's growing up. :(

This is totally not related to Field Day, but my guys were all chilling together in the newly renovated (but not quite finished) family room, and I just couldn't resist taking a picture of this. Ahh... MY BOYS! :D
