After the watergun lost its attraction, Alex decided today would be a good day to wash Mommy and Daddy's cars! What an excellent idea! :D Especially since the cars needed a good scrub down badly after all the snow and ice this winter.
Well the car wash went as expected, for the most part. Alex got the biggest sponge. Then decided that mine was somehow cleaner than his (I hadn't started cleaning the car yet!), so switched to mine. Jared got the little yellow one that he kept repeating "Mommy, I have the yellow one!" And somehow towards the end of the carwashing process, he had the green one that he kept waving around and getting soap on himself and yelling "Mommy, now I have the green one!" And when the cars are washed, neither of them wanted to stop. Jared kept trying to use the soaped sponge back on the cars and Alex just wanted to keep squirting water onto the cars. Yes, exciting stuff, I tell ya!

The cars got cleaned, and Eric and I finished with the waxing and polishing, with the kids moving onto better and more interesting stuff, like washing Jared's car! Yes, Jared's car. It apparently needed a scrub down, so he did. It's now sparklingly clean, uh... well, u know what I mean.
