After a loooong 2-hour drive to the airport, which normally should've taken an hour, we finally caught up with Eric and Ricky. Lucky them flew business class all the way to Shanghai! Minus some bad luck for the crying babies though. Ah well...
We were all sooooo excited to see them. Alex was practically attached to Ricky. And Ricky was very nice and tollerate of all of that. Jared, however, attached himself to Eric mostly. Only right. :D It was almost like going home finally, after 2 months, to see Eric. I feel that I'm finally a little relaxed.

We took the Maglev on the way out of the airport. It's only a short ride (about 6 minutse) to the station where our car was waiting. The top speed for the train was 430km/hour. Jared liked the ride so much he kept repeating "I want to ride the bullet train again" the whole way home.
I have already planned out the two weeks, so we're going to be very busy starting tomorrow. Eric's already sound asleep on the couch, since he didnt' sleep much on the plane. Ricky, however, is wide awake. I took him for his much needed haircut (ahem!) and they did a great job. It's much shorter now and cute. He was shocked at the cheap price of the haircut, and the great service. His comment? Wish they had that in the States!
All in all, a good start to an exciting trip hopefully.
