Ok, yesterday we went to Chen Huang Miao, the (in)famous City God's Temple. It was sooooo crowded. We mainly browsed the shops all around, got some touristy things and bargained our way out.
Well, ok, this is going to turn into a gripe blog now. We went to McDonalds for lunch! Eeeeeek! For those of you who know me well, you know how much I despise McD's. I really wanted to take everyone to Nang Xiang, the xiao long bao place I blogged about in a previous blog about going to the temple with Alex. Anyway, but because there were sooooo many people there yesterday, the restaurant was absolutely packed! There were lines going out the restaurant waiting for a table. And 'sides, Eric and Ricky were "hinting" for McD's. (Like "but there's always McDonalds" or "McDonald's is right there!" or "Jared, don't you want McDonalds?" yes, you get the idea!) So off to McD's we went. *sigh, woe is to be me!*
It's a sin to go to Chen Huang Miao and have McD's! Sin, I tell ya, sin!
