Anyway, today we went to the Shanghai Art Museum, mainly for the Man Ray and other masters, photography show. Among the photographers, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa. The subjects include different locales (New York, Paris, and others), portraits, nudes and close-up war time scenes. There were some very intesting stuff. Alex, however, found it amusing that there are nudes, chuckling whenever he sees one. Kids!
2nd floor had an Italian Factory art show, which I'm not sure what I think about it. Alex claims his favorite was the train painting, because of it's subject matter, naturally. There were some Chinese artist paintings on this level as well, which at this point, Alex was already scanning through and not showing much interest, aside for a painting of a couple of reindeer in the moonlight.

3nd floor featured a French artist, Jean Louis Simone. I loved the colors and actually, the paintings as well. Some of it was a bit depressing, like the suicide and killings series, which I steered Alex away from quickly. Most of it was very interesting, especially the X-Ray series and the Chinese street scenes series. But Alex was bored by then. Too much art I suspect!
Tomorrow, if the weather's good, we are going to head to a couple of temples. See what he thinks of that!
