We went and saw the Shanghai Circus perform the other day. EXCELLENT show. The stage was small and there weren't that many people at the show, but it was very well done. The acrobats were amazing and the animals adorable. Alex loved it! Jared's still little, and can't understand a lot of it. But he certainly enjoyed watching the animals. And it was nice to see that the animals were treated with love, and were healthy, unlike the ones we saw 3 years ago at another circus show. They were sickly and sad looking creatures then. Unfortunately they didn't allow picture taking during the show, but for 10 yuan, you can have pictures taken with the animals at the end of the show. So that's all I got to show for it. Bummer, big time!
If you ever come to Shanghai with little kids, definately check out the circus. It's well worth the 150 yuan per person ticket.
