ZooBoo

Halloween at the Baltimore Zoo has been somewhat of a tradition in our family, though we missed last year's ZooBoo. I love the Baltimore zoo. Not only because we used to go a lot when Alex was little and it's such a nice friendly place for kids. Also because some of the animals cohabit in the same area, like the zebra, ostrich, and rhinos are in this open space together. And the animals are usually outside, another great feature.

So we went this past Sunday, with our neighbors and their friend and kid. It was the longest time we've ever spent at that zoo. We were there for 4 hours+, that usually takes us 2 hours tops to go through both the children's zoo and Journey through Africa. There were lots of trick-or-treating to be done, and other kids activities. You'd think we weren't there for the animals! Well that was why it took sooooo long. But at least they had fun and they were all sugared up! Luckily my neighbor took Alex in their car (she had 3 other kids in her car), so it wasn't as noisy on the way home. Jared's much tamer by himself! :)
