10 years, babe, 10 years!

Did you know that 10-year-anniversary is tin/aluminum? So here's a can of chicken noodle soup, honey!!! (at least I didn't give u cream of mushroom!)

Today is our anniversary! 10 years of marriage! Wow! Time flies when you are having fun. I remember the day we got married very well, and I remember the next 3650 (give or take a few days) even better... This blog is to you, Eric! Yes yes, don't be shocked, I'm actually saying nice things about you, and mean it.

So, thanks, above all, for making me laugh all the time. Yes, sometimes you are VERY funny! Even if I do say "yeah yeah" or "you think you are funny!" And that is NOT something you can use against me later!

For putting up with my impatience and my many moods (especially recently). I know what you put up with. But, don't let it go to your head!

For being a great Daddy. The boys will have memories (or nightmares) of a big hand openning and closing coming down onto their faces for years! They'll never know the meaning of "no" because SOMEONE won't stop tickling them when they giggle and laugh "no Daddy" (yes yes the fact that they follow with "again Daddy" doesn't help them any either, but that's not the point here). And they will remember the warmth of hiding inside Daddy's jacket on a cold day.

Speaking of cold days, for being a portable heater for me on those (brrr...) cooooold days and nights. (and for not getting offended with the "go away, you are tooo hot" in the summer.)

On a serious note, for your support, love and absolute trust in me. We've been through quite a lot together, haven't we?! I know I'd have never been able to survive Jared's heart problem alone. You were always so strong and so optimistic, while I fell to pieces. You saw humor at the most impossible times, something I don't do even at the happiest times sometimes. :p You patiently go through math with Alex while I paced on the side. And you are even learning Chinese! (and trying to teach Alex Chinese yourself. The blind leading the blind? Maybe that's why it's not working??? hehe) I love the quiet hugs you give when I just felt like crying.

Ok ok, enough sappy stuff... Last but not least, for doing laundry (believe me, that ranks high on my list!). You knew that's my least favorite of family chores, and you took it on. What a man! :)

10 years, babe, 10 years! Here's to us, and many more to come. I love you! (now you say "I love you too, honey". Yes, yes, you can do it, there isn't anyone else around to hear it. Don't worry, really!
