Alex has been increasingly funnier/smartass-y. I find that I enjoy my time around him, just the two of us, quite a bit these days, especially since he's getting "more mature" and well, Moms are no longer cool. *sigh*
Today I went to pick him up from fencing, and we were joking around in the car (he now sits in the front!), and generally laughing and having a good time. I reached out my arm, and squashed his cheeks, like I used to do when he was little, (but hadn't in years!) and said "Oh you are so cute!"
Alex: Mom! Keep your hands on the steering wheel. Drive first, appreciate my cuteness later!
