We had a burial for Cracker, our beloved (though not-long-acquainted) parakeet. Poor Cracker!
Jared picked out a spot in the backyard, (smack in the middle of the lawn no less and I wasn't around early enough to put a stop to that), and we dug a hole for Cracker's "coffin." Poor Cracker. But at least he will be thoroughly missed, as his replacement, Blueberry, bit Jared, TWICE! Doh! Now he wants pictures of him and Cracker during the "good ole days," and a stuffed animal white parakeet to cuddle up to at night. (awwww...) I managed to find a white owl, closest thing I could find to a parakeet. Apparently not enough others had the desire for white parakeet stuffed animals or beanie babies. Go figure!
So Aaron volunteered to take Blueberry to his place to train We're not sure if he's really training it to be more personable, or to fight the sugar glider... (who presumably killed Cracker, the truth of which we will never know.)
