Jared: "Mommy, I want to play the skeleton game." (the I-Spy Haunted Mansion game)

Me: "Okay, but you'll have to wait til I'm done getting some work done on the computer, then we can play."

Jared: "okay. Are you done now?"

Me: "Noo... I just started. It'll take me at least another 10 minutes."

A full 10 seconds later...

Jared: "Mommy, I want to play the skeleton game."

Me: "Jared, I told you already, you need to wait."

Jared: "I want to play the skeleton game. I - WANT - TO - PLAY - the - SKELETON - GAME!"

Me: "Jared, if you keep pestering me, it would only take me longer."

Jared: "Skeleton! ... Skeleton! ..."

Me: "Okay, that's it. If you mention the Skeleton again, you won't be playing it."

I was happy with my yet another 10 full seconds of silence. Then...

Jared: "Mommy, I want to play the spooky mansion game!!"
