I had forgotten to set my alarm clock last night! If it wasn't for Jared at 7:10 yelling "Alex! Alex! I'm awake!" <--- He has graduated from "Mommy, I'm awake!!" preferring to calling for Alex instead. Guess Alex is just MORE FUN!
Anyway... I jumped up after remember about the alarm clock, or the lack of one, and yelled to Alex to get dressed and help Jared out too, and rush into the shower. When I got out, Alex had changed Jared's pajamas and dressed him in day clothes, complete with socks; brushed his teeth, and poured cereal and milk in a bowl for both Jared and himself! OMG! My little boy's growing up! Yes, this is a moment when Mommy chokes up and sighs loudly.
THEN, he helped Jared putting on his shoes (which Jared doesn't really need help with, but likes to pout and make things difficult in general, just because he can!). What a Wonderful Big Brother!
