Yep, that's me! I had Alex's school's parent/teacher conference the other day, and the teacher had nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about Alex! Woohoo! I have been a little worried about him, but turned out my worries are mine only. He's doing above grade level work for both Math and Reading. In fact, he's doing so well that his teacher's giving him 3rd and 4th grade math to do. (Go, Alex!)
She also said that he's a wonderful kid that likes to help out his classmates, and is good friends with his classmates. The amusing thing is there's another Alex in his class and an Alec. And the 3 of them are on the same academic level, more or less, so she grouped them at the same table. Talking about confusing!
