Renaissance Faire

I'm finding it rather hard to write about the Renaissance Fair we went to this year. Everything I came up with seems inadequate to the fun we had.

The boys got "weighed" by bags of stones! Alex turned out to be 2 bags plus a stone (to which the smartassed shopkeeper said "He's less dense than we thought!" ha-ha. And Jared weighed a bag minus a stone. The boys also got their faces painted, Alex having a tribal pattern and Jared with a spider and its web. VERY cool looking!

Here's my friend Sue, making faces at me. How mature! LOL! We go with her every year, ever since we first started going to the Renaissance Fair. She's much more a "die hard" at it. We're mere amateurs of the Fair compares to her! The boys always like going with her, and they follow her around. :D Poor Sue!

There are just too many interesting things and people to see at the Fair. Unfortunately we missed the knighting ceremony this year though!
