I went and saw the new Bourne movie last night. It was good! Very entertaining and gripping. I'm told there's a slight deviation in the movie from the book though (slight spoiler here if you don't want to read it, now's a good time to stop). Admittedly I believe that the deviation is necessary for the movie, after all, it's a heck lot more glamorous for a movie to be a professional killer for the country (supposedly) than someone who doesn't actually do the killing but are made to look like the actual killer. No? More twist for the book though.
(spoiler over).
The movie theater was in Silver Spring. I had recently discovered downtown Silver Spring to be quite a happening place! There are tons of neat restaurants (including Ethiopian, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Italian, Mexican, Lebanese, and well your good ole American ones) , cool shops, Borders, a pool hall and of course, the movie theater. There are live concerts in the summer by local groups, and quite a lot of people seem to gather to watch those, even on a scorching summer day. And best of all? Free and ample parking that is located right in the center of all this. If you live in this area, and haven't been to Silver Spring in a while, you should definitely go check it out! Oh, for those of you with kids, bring a change of clothes and a towel. There's a big water fountain in the center of the area that is designed for kids to run in it!
And the boys are back! Yay!! Jared starts daycare next week and well, for lack of other plans, I'm going to have to take Alex to work with me. Luckily I have a cool boss with a mansion and a swimming pool and a full-time maid. hmm... I hope the kid doesn't get too used to this life style! LOL.
