Stuff

Yes, VERY imaginative title, I know. Well you see, I was going to blog about my day and gardening stuff, then I realized that I'd rather gripe, at least partly. But instead of turning this entry into an MVF (Montgomery Village Foundation) hate post, I'll TRY and cool it down a bit and sneak it in with the rest of the gripes, so as not to be quite as blatant. Why I bother, I don't know...

Seems appropriate to start the post with Things I hate, then. So here goes:

1. (and yes, in this order!) MVF, hands down. What a $%&#ing pain of an organization. They derive pleasure in making residents' life more difficult. Our garage doors had 2 panels instead of the usual no panel, 4 panel or 6 panel each piece, and therefore was NOT acceptable, but now it is finally acceptable because, well we appealed to "higher authority." We can't have the front doors we wanted cuz well, they are too "ornate" and the caming inside the door is black as opposed to silver or brass. Figure that out! Oh, the latest, our stupid mandatory shutters can not be black cuz the house next door has black shutters. And their "design consultant" decided that was no good. Do we live in backwards country or what?! Sheesh, even China isn't THIS tyrranic! Shelli, I REALLY hope you painted the outside of the MVF building hot pink!

dandelions
2. Dandelions. (Oh yes, MVF is miles ahead than dandelions, so it's really not fair to number dandelions 2, it's more like 10000) We spent at least 2 hours yesterday digging out most of the dandelions in the backyard. All the hideous yellow flowers were gone by the end of that, but guess what? I walked into the backyard this morning, and there was a SEA of the damned little yellow flowers! Is my PMS not bad enough that more aggrevations have to be added by the second??? And these are the BIGGEST dandelions I've ever seen! Guess the miracle grow works!

3. Rubbing my eyes after cutting jalepenos. Why I never learn not to do that, beats me. This is probably the most dreaded part of making salsa for me.

4. Stubborness. And I married into a stubborn family, I tell ya! Jared's got it too, I think. Doh!

5. Chaos. And we've been living in chaos for the past 2 years. I hate it! The house projects go on, and on, and on... Though the house is improving, and I can't wait til it's done. Can't wait til we have money to buy other things other than home improvement stuff. I don't want to spend more money at Home Depot!!!!

Ok, I'd better cut myself off now, or the list will go on and on and on...

When my pms is over, I'll blog about things I like. I'll be in a much cheerful mood then! :D And no, I don't want comments that will contradict me, nope, don't want to hear it. Feel free to leave me comments if you agree with me though. lol
